School Uniform
We believe that the school uniform plays an important role in establishing the ethos of our schools and that our uniform policy benefits the school in a number of ways: |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||
All children must have full school uniform, worn correctly, for daily attendance at school. Uniform will usually be worn on occasions when children are representing the school, including school visits. Parents and carers are asked to co-operate fully by providing the uniform and ensuring children wear it correctly to and from school, and at other times as required. Some items are only obtainable from the school’s suppliers. Ordering Uniform

PE Kit
All PE Kit should be clearly named and brought into school in a named PE bag.
- White polo shirt (ideally with school logo).
- Plain blue shorts.
- Plain white socks.
- Plimsolls or trainers with light coloured/non marking soles
- Children may also choose to wear either a plain light grey sweatshirt and plain light grey joggers or those with the school logo.
Personal Appearance
Shoulder length hair should, for safety and hygiene reasons, be tied back from the face. Hair accessories should be plain in style and colour. Hair gel, mousse, etc. should not be worn to school. No jewellery should be worn to school. If children have pierced ears only plain metal studs should be worn, no earrings of any other kind are allowed. Studs must be removed during all PE lessons, children are expected to remove their own earrings and will be responsible for them. It is preferable not to wear earrings on PE days.
No nail varnish should be worn.
Valuables
Children should not bring any valuables such as electronic games or mobile phones into school. The school will not take responsibility for any items brought into school, unless by prior agreement.
It is important nonetheless when defining our uniform policy that this does not provide a barrier to inclusivity. Consequently religious headwear may be worn (for religious purposes only) but will be required to be in line with the wider school uniform.
